UTILIZATION OF THE DFA ONLINE VISA APPLICATION SYSTEM
FOR 9(A) VISA APPLICATIONS IN HOUSTON PCG
The Philippine Consulate General in Houston (Houston PCG) wishes to announce that it shall now be connected to the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Online Visa Application System (OVAS). For this reason, all applications for 9(A) visa must be lodged online by visiting the website www.visa.gov.ph, or by scanning the QR Code below:
A link to this website has also been placed on the visa information page of the official website of Houston PCG (https://houstonpcg.dfa.gov.ph/index.php/consular-services/visa-services ).
Effective immediately, all applications for 9(A) visas must be lodged online. Houston PCG will no longer entertain any visa submissions done directly in person or through mail without approval obtained after lodging the applications online.
Please note that pursuant to an order issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID), the entry of foreign nationals into the Philippines remains suspended, subject to certain exceptions outlined in the visa information page of Houston PCG.
