CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING OF APPOINTMENTS FOR PASSPORT

SERVICES THROUGH WWW.PASSPORT.GOV.PH

 

The Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Houston (Houston PCG) wishes to request all passport applicants to cancel their appointments obtained in the Department of Foreign Affairs passport appointment system website, www.passport.gov.ph, if they are unable to appear on the day of their appointments. This will free up appointment slots which can be booked by other people interested in availing of passport services in the Consulate General.

Below is the step-by-step procedure for cancelling the appointment:

  1. Access www.passport.gov.ph.
  2. Click on ‘Manage Existing Appointment’
  3. Enter appointment code and email address
  4. Check Im not a robot and click view details.
  5. Click the 'Cancel Appointment' button
  6. "Appointment with Appointment Code <Appointment Code> was successfully CANCELLED…" message will display;
  7. Open your email to see the confirmation of cancellation
  8. To set a new appointment, go back to appointment and either choose Start Individual Appointment or Start Group Appointment

CERTIFIED LIST OF VOTERS IN THE 2022 NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS

 

The Philippine Consulate General in Houston (Houston PCG) wishes to inform the public that the Certified List of Voters is now available and can be viewed by clicking on the links below:

  • Land-based voters – click HERE
  • Seafarers – click HERE

The lists cover voters from the states within Houston PCG’s jurisdiction, namely, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas; and seafarers who have registered to vote in Houston.

UTILIZATION OF THE DFA GLOBAL ONLINE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM (GOAS) FOR THE PASSPORT APPOINTMENT OF HOUSTON PCG

The Philippine Consulate General in Houston (Houston PCG) wishes to announce that it shall now be connected to the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Global Online Appointment System for the booking of passport appointments.

Appointments for passport services can be secured by visiting the website www.passport.gov.ph, or by scanning the QR Code below:

A link to this website has also been placed on the home page of the official website of Houston PCG (https://houstonpcg.dfa.gov.ph/), and on its passport information page (https://houstonpcg.dfa.gov.ph/index.php/consular-services/passport-services).

Passport appointment slots for the month of January 2022 will be available on 15 December 2021. Slots for the following month shall thereafter be available every fifteenth (15th) day of the month, i.e. slots for February 2022 will be available on 15 January 2022, and so forth.

In line with these changes, one appointment per person, including minors and senior citizens, would be required to avail of passport services.

REVISED FEES FOR EXTENSION OF VALIDITY OF PASSPORTS

 

The Philippine Consulate General in Houston (Houston PCG) wishes to announce that pursuant to new regulations of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the applicable fee for extension of validity of passports shall now be twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

Houston PCG would also like to remind the public that extension of passport validity can only be availed of once and may only be done on a passport whose validity has not yet expired. Expiring passports whose validity had previously been extended would have to be renewed.

The above changes have been reflected on the information page on the extension of validity of passports found at the official website of Houston PCG (https://houstonpcg.dfa.gov.ph/index.php/consular-services/passport-services/extension-of-passport-validity).

Cessation of Passport Extensions

 

06 February 2020 - The Philippine Consulate General in Houston wishes to inform the public that extensions of passport validity are no longer being done by the Department of Foreign Affairs in compliance with existing international regulations.

 

 

All passport holders are reminded that Passports must remain valid for at least 6 months from date of departure. For this reason, the Consulate General suggests that passports must be renewed ten (10) months before the date of expiration.

 

Passports may be renewed at the Philippine Consulate General in Houston, 9990 Richmond Avenue, Ste. 100N, Houston, Texas 77042 by appointment set through its official website at https://kiosk.na1.qless.com/kiosk/app/home/100100000105.
